Members of the Task Force of the Enforcement and Control Team of the Kowloon East Regional Traffic Department launched an operation to combat dangerous driving and speeding in the region this morning (16th). After preliminary investigation, the 36-year-old male driver surnamed Lin was arrested on suspicion of “speeding” and “dangerous driving”. He has been released on bail pending investigation and must report to the police in mid-March. The police appeal to all motorists that speeding and dangerous driving are serious crimes, and if convicted, they may be sentenced to imprisonment and suspension of license.
