AngloGold Ashanti, a South African mining company, published its results for the full year 2022 on Wednesday February 15. The group indicates that it has achieved its key strategic objectives. Indeed, the company says it has achieved operational performance by improving its cash flow, security and gold production. The latter increased by 12.5%, or 2.74 million ounces in 2022 compared to 2.47 million in 2021. AngloGold Ashanti also pointed out that the gold mine of Obuasi (Ghana), which was suspended in 2021 following a geological event, begins to regain its vitality with a production of 250,000 ounces
