Study: The use of masks was “almost non-existent” to prevent the risk of corona

After major health organizations declared that masks are “the most powerful tool for humans” in the face of the emerging corona virus, during the pandemic, a recent study came to refute that information that most of the world’s population followed with dedication.

And a new scientific review indicated that the widespread wearing of the muzzle may have done little to reduce the transmission of the Corona virus, according to the “Fox News” website.

The new review, titled “Physical Interventions to Stop or Limit the Spread of Respiratory Viruses,” was led by 12 researchers from prestigious universities around the world.

The review, published by the Cochrane Library, looked at the results of 78 controlled trials to determine whether “physical interventions” including face masks and hand washing reduced the spread of respiratory viruses.

When comparing the use of medical masks to not wearing masks, the review found that “wearing a mask made no significant difference in the number of people who developed an influenza-like illness such as COVID-19.”

The study also showed that even wearing specialized masks such as “N95” masks did not affect the avoidance of infection with corona.
