Two bodies in Osaka Izumi house fire One confirmed as 82-year-old husband | NHK Kansai news

On the 14th, a fire was found in a house in Izumi City, Osaka, where the bodies of two elderly couples were found, one of whom was confirmed to be an 82-year-old husband.
The couple needed nursing care, so police are investigating the cause of the fire, as well as confirming the identity of the other wife.

Around 6:00 pm on the 14th, there was a fire that burned part of a two-story wooden house in Kanonji-cho, Izumi City, and two people were found dead in the living room on the first floor.
With this fire, the police and fire departments have been inspecting the site from 10:00 am on the 15th and are proceeding with the identification of the fire source.
According to the police, one of the two who died was confirmed to be Masahiro Shimogama (82) who lived in this house, and the other was confirmed to be his 73-year-old wife.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire, as both of them needed nursing care and their wives were usually bedridden.
