The Public Prosecution announces the issuance of a preliminary ruling against those accused of the run-over incident in Qatif

Al-Marsad Newspaper: An official source in the Public Prosecution stated that, in addition to the statement issued in the case of a run over person in Qatif, the Public Prosecution Office of Assault on Persons ended its investigations by accusing two citizens of organized criminal formation and attempted murder and robbery by intentionally and aggressively hitting a person with a vehicle belonging to them, with the intent of Seizing the property of the victim.

The source explained that by referring them to the competent court and providing evidence of their accusation, the preliminary judicial ruling was issued, including their conviction of what was attributed to them, sentencing them to imprisonment for a period of (15) years each, and confiscating the vehicle used in the crime.

And the source indicated that the Public Prosecution Office submitted an objection to the ruling, demanding that the punishment be harsher for the two defendants, in view of the heinousness of their crime on the victim, and that what they did was considered a form of corruption on the ground, affecting the peace and tranquility of society, and attacking and terrorizing the safe.

The source stressed that the Public Prosecution is continuing to combat crimes affecting the protected interests of individuals and society and everything that would prejudice the security and stability of the homeland, and it will present anyone who begged himself to carry out such behaviors to the competent court, to demand severe penalties in this regard.
