The Colombian soccer player Carlos Sánchez complained through his Twitter account, that the Avianca airline was charging him a value of $3,000,000 for his luggage, following he had paid $11,000,000 for his flight.
He also denounced that they were not going to let him board the plane because it was already overbooked, so made the decision to publicize the situation through its social networks, copying the company and the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
Finally, Avianca resolved his situation, and responded to his publication: “Hello, Carlos. We have just confirmed with our ground team that you have already been assigned your chair and you are boarding at this time,” they said.
Sánchez is 37 years old, played in teams like Santa Fé, and is a native of Quibdó, Chocó. He plays for the Argentine team San Lorenzo de Almagro, and was bought for $300,000 euros.
