‘Kohli was afraid of his balls’; Dinesh Karthik praised the Indian bowler

Indian player Dinesh Karthik says that Mohammad Shami is the most dangerous bowler he has faced in his career. Dinesh Karthik said that many legends of Indian cricket are afraid to face Shami’s balls in the nets.

Shami was the most dangerous bowler I faced in my career at the nets. Many times my wicket has fallen to Shami. At first I thought I was the only one who was afraid of Shami. But when I asked legends Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli regarding this, they told me that they too had the same experience. “They hated facing Shami’s balls,” said Karthik. Karthik’s response is in an interview given to Cric Bus.

Mohammad Shami, who is bowling for India in the Border Gavaskar Trophy, took three wickets for India in the first Test. In the Nagpur Test, Shami was amazing not only with the ball but also with the bat. Batting in T20 mode in the first innings, the player scored 37 runs accompanied by three massive sixes. Shami has 25 sixes in Tests. Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid, Ravi Shastri, Yuvraj Singh, Kane Williamson, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara etc are below Shami in terms of sixes in Tests.
