Washington Capitals forward Evgeny Kuznetsov commented on the team’s loss in the NHL regular season match with the San Jose Sharks. The meeting was held at the Capital One Arena stadium in Washington and ended with the victory of the guests with a score of 4:1.
“I just go to the goal and think when you hit the net, good things happen. I thought that this goal would give us momentum, but, unfortunately, this did not happen. A heavy defeat, and I believe that this game, this result will definitely make us better, ”the official NHL website quotes Kuznetsov as saying.
Kuznetsov scored the only goal for Washington.
Kuznetsov has played 54 games this season in the NHL, scoring 8 goals and 36 assists.
