Representative Ghassan Skaf affirmed that “Article 75 of the constitution stipulates that the parliament becomes an elective body, not a legislative body, and from here we will not participate in the legislative session.”
In a radio interview, Skaff indicated that “there is no use or interpretation of the word convergence to disable the text of Article 75 and make it lose its meaning, spirit and purpose,” pointing out that “management of citizens’ affairs is not through normalization with the vacuum or organizing with it through illegal means, but rather through Putting pressure on the unemployed who produced the constitutional crises.
Yesterday, 46 deputies, including Skaf, announced that they will not participate in any “legislative session” before electing the head of state, and we will not recognize any of its laws, and we will exercise any right granted to us by the constitution to challenge them.
