Vietnamese army transferred 35 tons of goods to Turkey

35 tons of goods including food, medical equipment and supplies for the barracks will be transferred to Turkey with the Vietnamese army’s relief team.

Exchange with Zing, the leader of the Department of Transportation (General Department of Logistics) said that 35 tons of goods and equipment had been completed to Noi Bai airport to be ready to be transported to Turkey. This is the number of goods prepared by the Ministry of Defense to bring to your country with a group of 76 Vietnamese soldiers.

The goods included 10 tons of dry food, 13.5 tons of food, 1.3 tons of food supplies, 2.2 tons of medical equipment, medicine, and 3 tons of barracks supplies.

In the morning of February 12, the 971 brigade gathered these goods at Noi Bai airport to transport them to Turkey.

According to the plan, on the same evening, a working group of 76 servicemen including engineering forces, military medicine, logistics, professional dogs … will depart for Turkey on a disaster relief mission. Leading the delegation was Major General Pham Van Ty, Deputy Director of the Rescue and Rescue Department, General Commander of the Vietnam People’s Army forces, participating in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief in Turkey.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the People’s Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense, will go to Noi Bai airport to see off the delegation.
