The sequel to the mystical action Alan Wake now you can go from start to finish. The foundations are ready, the story is written and framed. The developers will add the missing part of the content in the months remaining before the release.. This was announced by the CEO of the studio Remedy Entertainment Tero Virtala. For now, the team is focusing on polishing horror.
Virtala also revealed that the remaster of the original game still hasn’t turned a profit for the studio. However, the developers are optimistic and believe that in the run-up to the release of the second part, the situation will change, as fans and new players will want to check out the updated version of the first part on next-generation consoles before buying the second.
Alan Wake 2 is slated for release in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
In addition to Alan Wake 2, Remedy has several other projects in development, including a sequel and a spin-off Controlas well as a shareware game codenamed Vanguard.
