He explained that all the Authority’s vehicles are equipped with the “connected vehicle” service to the Internet, which is a vehicle supported by artificial intelligence, equipped with a camera, and the “GPS” service, which drives on the roads and carries out various inspection procedures for various vehicles, and then sorts the vehicles and verifies their compliance with the rules and regulations of the General Authority. for transportation.

He added that the connected vehicle was used to verify more than 29,000 operations, and led to ensuring that 875 vehicles did not comply with the rules and standards.

In turn, the Communications, Space and Technology Commission employs a number of connected vehicles, and the engineer in the commission, Mishaal Al-Zahra, adds that these vehicles are controlled through an application dedicated to them, and using the application the windows are controlled, and the condition of the oil, engine, tires and doors is known, as well as the operation of the air conditioner and the vehicle, And determine its location, and turn on the “Wi-Fi High Spot” service.
