CAF: from July 2023, a new formula will appear on your payslips. This is the “Net corporate amount”. What are the changes surrounding this novelty applied to civil servants and private sector employees? We explain all this to you in this article.
A new mention on payslips from July
Recently, the Minister of Solidarity, Jean-Christophe Combe, made an announcement in a press release. “For the first time, the French who need it, will see each month on their payslip, the exact amount to declare to request the RSA or the activity bonus” he said before adding that it was a valuable step forward for streamline and automate the payment of the various allowances intended for the most modest French people.
Note that several studies have revealed that many households eligible for allowances paid by the CAF do not think of claiming them. Thus, a large number of French people receiving low salaries would not benefit from the activity bonus. However, this financial aid reaches up to 181 euros on average, a significant sum in these particularly difficult times.
A measure that aims to simplify the procedures for CAF recipients
We are talking regarding a new payslip because a new section will appear on it. This “Net social amount” will concern the sure and potential beneficiaries of the activity bonus. And employers will be obliged to add this mention as of July 1, 2023.
The net corporate amount corresponds to the net income following the deduction of all social contributions. It therefore designates the total gross remuneration from which social security contributions are withdrawn. This new reference will be useful in the context of the declaration of quarterly resources made to the CAF. This is required to apply for the RSA or the activity bonus.
Thanks to this reference amount displayed on the payslips from the month of July, the procedures for CAF recipients will therefore be simplified. They will only have to declare the sum of the net social amounts provided by their employers.
Simplified access to your social rights
Not only will this new statement simplify the procedures, but it will also limit the risk of errors when declaring resources.
To describe this device, the government speaks of a step towards “solidarity at the source”. It’s a kind of automatic transmission to CAF. In effect, “Employers will have to declare the “net social amount” of their employees to the authorities, as is already the case for the net taxable amount. This amount will be communicated directly to the CAF for each income paid by employers and social organizations. » said Social Security.
Concretely, if you are a CAF recipient or if you are not aware of your eligibility for the activity bonus, this new mention will allow you toaccess your social rights. You will also find the total amount of your net social income on the mesdroitssociaux.fr website.
