Pad Thai is an extremely famous dish in the land of the Golden Temple made up of two main ingredients, eggs and noodles.
Prepare:
– Rice noodles
– Salt
– Lemon juice
– Brown sugar
– Fish sauce
– Light soy sauce
– Paprika
– Vegetable oil
– Thinly sliced bell peppers
– 2 cloves of minced garlic
– 2 eggs
– Shrimp peeled and shredded
– Ground pepper
– Finely chopped scallions
– Roasted peanuts, crushed
Making:
Step 1: Boil a pot of water then add a little salt. Put the rice noodles in the pot and cook.
Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together lemon juice, brown sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce and paprika.
Step 3: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add bell peppers and cook until tender. Add garlic and sauté for regarding 1 minute. Add shrimp and season with salt and pepper, cook until shrimp turn pink.
Step 4: Remove shrimp and vegetables to a corner of the pan, beat eggs and pour in. Add the cooked noodles and mix well with the eggs, shrimp and vegetables. Pour the lemon juice mixture prepared in step 2 into the mix.
Step 5: Put on a plate, garnish with scallions and crushed peanuts before serving.
