Al-Marsad Newspaper: A new study shows that consuming a hot drink can help prevent potentially life-threatening health conditions.

In the study published in the journal Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy, researchers revealed the benefits of a tea plant compound. which has been shown to enhance “anticoagulant activity” and prevent platelets from sticking together.

“Tea is known for its heart-healthy properties, including lowering blood pressure and antioxidant effects. It also helps protect the heart and brain by reducing clotting,” said Dr. Jill Jenkins, according to the Daily Express.

The doctor explained: “This adds to the evidence showing that regular tea drinkers are less likely to develop heart disease or stroke,” as well as that it improves attention and motor speed and reduces the risk of depression.

The results revealed that drinking three cups of tea a day is ideal. This is because drinking three cups a day was associated with a 24% lower risk of dying from cardiovascular disease.
