It is very dangerous at this age to act radically with the wardrobe. On the one hand, you can not indulge age. And on the other hand, wear teenage outfits. The famous designer Naz Maer helped to find a way out.
The fashion designer has collaborated with the fashion house of Jean Paul Gaultier for 7 years. He helped the eminent couturier create more than one collection of haute couture outfits.
And recommends women 50+ to bet on elegance. Unfortunately, according to the designer, ladies at this age fall into one of the extremes: they either forget regarding themselves or wear youthful clothes. In this regard, he advises 50-year-olds to revise their wardrobe, and be sure to:
- throw out everything that belongs to the category of mini, especially short skirts. Do not forget regarding age-related changes in the skin and body. Why show it?
- forget regarding the existence of acid shades that only emphasize age and even add more. Therefore, down with such clothes from the wardrobe;
- say goodbye to animal prints, and above all to the “leopard” and “tiger”.
But this does not mean that brightness no longer has a place in the lives of those who are 50+. Naz Maer suggests adding color in the form of eye-catching accessories: handbags, beads, glasses, and other similar additions.
In addition, the designer does not recommend resigning yourself to your age. After all, 50+ is not the end of an active and interesting life. Therefore, he proposes to remove things with outdated styles from the wardrobe. Designers will not return to them, since the past serves only as inspiration for the fashion designer. How to replace not fashionable outfits? You need a set of basic items that can not only be combined with each other, but also with things in trend.
As Naz Maer noted, in order not to get tired of your reflection in the mirror and to get to know yourself from a new perspective, it is worth keeping track of new items from time to time and purchasing some of them.
