Landscaping artist Kim Ji-hwan, landscaping workshop radio manager, saved a precious life with CPR.
On the 7th, the Yangpyeong Fire Department awarded certificates of commendation to Kim Ji-hwan, the landscaping workshop radio representative, and Yangpyeong-gun Office Accounting Department Jang Jeong-woo and Kim Young-seon, who saved precious lives.
On January 25, CEO Kim Ji-hwan found man A who collapsed complaining of chest pain on the second floor of the Yangpyeong-gun Office parking tower, and without hesitation ran to take first aid. Representative Kim immediately put his hands together and put them on his chest to perform CPR, pointing to a passer-by and requesting to call 119.
After reporting, while continuing to perform CPR, Mr. A’s consciousness returned, and followingward, he was transferred to the hospital by 119 and was able to save his life by receiving treatment.
CEO Kim Ji-hwan is a landscape artist who plans and designs external spaces to create landscapes ecologically, functionally and aesthetically, and runs a creative group, ‘landscape workshop radio’.
Representative Kim said, “When I saw a person who had fallen, my body unconsciously reacted first. I didn’t know that learning CPR through safety education would be so useful. It is fortunate that Mr. A’s consciousness has returned, and I am grateful.”
