A citizen lost her life in the last hours as a result of the injuries she had suffered in a traffic accident that occurred the previous week in the Mojana Sucreña region.
This is María Virginia Prasca Genes, who died on the night of this Wednesday, February 8, in the intensive care unit of the University Hospital of the city of Sincelejo.

The woman did not resist the serious injuries suffered in the municipality of Guaranda, when she was mobilizing as a grill on a motorcycle and was suddenly hit by a public service vehicle.
María Virginia was in the company of her daughter and was unconscious under the white vehicle, receiving strong blows to the head and other parts of the body.
With this loss, there are already 15 people who have died as a result of traffic accidents in the department of Sucre, so far this year.
The women were traveling to the town of Majagual, but did not meet their destination, as the intermunicipal transport vehicle ran over them at the El Reposo Nursery.
