On the evening of February 8, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Phuong, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vy Da ward, city Hue (Thua Thien-Hue province) said that on the followingnoon of the same day, there was a rare accident at a football field in the area, killing a 17-year-old male student, residing in Hue city.
According to initial information, the incident happened at regarding 4 pm on the same day at Monaco football field (Vic Da ward).
One pupil Grade 12 (17 years old) when going to the goal to pick up the ball, unfortunately got caught in the net causing the crossbar falls down to hit people.

Immediately following that, this young man was taken to the medical station of Vy Da ward for first aid but did not survive.
Upon receiving the news, the Hue City Police were present at the scene for an examination and continued to investigate, clarify, and consider whether the above case had signs of crime or not.
