Officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) recovered cleaning material and arrested five people in Puerto Ordaz, allegedly engaged in robbery and theft.
In the early hours of this Tuesday, February 7, the authorities received an alert regarding the presence of unknown persons in an abandoned warehouse in the Los Pinos Industrial Zone.
Noticing the police presence, the group tried to flee but five subjects were apprehended and two managed to escape.
The uniformed officers seized 195 kilos of detergent, 56 kilos of sugar, two pliers, a bow saw and a metal pickaxe.
They also collected a hammer, pipe wrench, headlamp and a black bag.
In the procedure, four men of 31, 50, 49 and 31 years of age were apprehended, in addition to a 14-year-old adolescent, who were transferred to the Matanzas Police Station.
