Al-Marsad Newspaper: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait are among the most prominent countries that provided aid to Turkey in the current crisis, and they pledge to provide more.
“The number of earthquake deaths rose to 9057, injuries to 52,979, and demolished buildings to 6,444,” Erdogan said, in statements reported by the official Turkish news agency, “Anatolia”.
The Turkish president added, “60,000 personnel are participating in the search and rescue operations, including volunteers and teams from outside the country.”
Erdogan stressed that the Turkish authorities will rescue all those trapped under the rubble, saying: “We will not leave anyone under the rubble.”
