Rehabilitation work on the E411 over its entire width (emergency lane, three traffic lanes and central berm) between Daussoulx and Thorembais-Saint-Trond, in both directions of traffic, will begin next March, announces on Wednesday the Walloon Company for Supplementary Infrastructure Financing (SOFICO).
From March 20 and until before winter, traffic will be on two lanes in both directions of traffic between Daussoulx and Aische-en-Refail and the maximum speed will be limited to 70 km / h.
The second phase, which will concern the rehabilitation of the motorway between Thorembais-Saint-Trond and Dhuy towards Luxembourg, will start in the spring of 2024 and should last until the end of that year.
In addition to the rehabilitation of the motorway lanes, the work will also concern the surfacing of the two sites in the Ostin area which will be rehabilitated, specifies Sofico. The Libut storm basin will also be cleaned. And finally, the work will improve the living environment of the residents of Warisoulx by installing devices over approximately 1 km to reduce noise pollution from the motorway.
