Actress Lee Ha-nui revealed what she felt while experiencing pregnancy and childbirth.
Lee Ha-nui appeared on the CBS faith testimony program ‘Let’s Renew’, which aired yesterday (7th), and talked regarding her pregnancy, marriage, and childbirth, revealing her deep faith. Lee Ha-nui married a non-celebrity man 2 years her senior in December 2021 and gave birth to her daughter in June of last year.
Lee Ha-nui revealed that she found out she was pregnant while filming the SBS drama ‘Wonder Woman’.
Lee Ha-nui said, “My husband is a play J, so he plans all the schedules. We were going to have a wedding ceremony before ‘Wonder Woman’, but he said we would do it following the work was finished in December.” There is, so let’s do an in vitro procedure,” he said, explaining the situation in which he had originally planned marriage and pregnancy.
Lee Ha-nui said, “When I was filming ‘Wonder Woman’, my husband went on a business trip to Hong Kong for regarding 3 months. In September, I briefly met my husband, and until November we filmed ‘Wonder Woman.’ “I mightn’t imagine it. I didn’t even think I was pregnant when I had precursor symptoms,” he recalled at the time.
Lee Ha-nui said, “I’m not the type to sleep in the car, but I sleep too much. I fell asleep in the car following dinner and woke up and filmed with my face swollen.” It wasn’t me, it wasn’t Maria, so I wondered how I might get pregnant.”
Lee Ha-nui, who said that when she took a pregnancy test like that, two lines came up, recalled, “I mightn’t believe it, so I took the test 3 times.”
‘Wonder Woman’ was a drama in which Lee Ha-nui played a major role. Lee Ha-nui said, “There were action scenes, I had to ride a wire, and I had to film from morning to night. I was the lead actor, so I mightn’t say I mightn’t do the script. I said, ‘God, please protect my child.'” Fortunately, the child was born healthy.
Lee Ha-nui also revealed that she shed tears during pregnancy at the possibility of a baby in her belly.
Lee Ha-nui said, “I got a call from a university hospital saying it would be nice to do a genetic tracking test. I did more tests than I had to do because I was elderly, but I thought it was a regular test and went without thinking. The doctor said, ‘If the mother is positive, the child will be tested. is highly likely to be positive’ and called the obstetrics and gynecology department and said, ‘I need to do an amniocentesis and have an abortion.’ “I closed the door to the clinic and came out completely collapsed.”
“I did an amniocentesis, but I was insane. I don’t know what kind of spirit I was in while waiting for the results. At the end of the year, I went to the awards ceremony with ‘Wonder Woman’, but I don’t remember anything else, so I went up to give my acceptance speech and said, ‘I oversee my life and death. I only remember saying ‘God who does’,” expressing his desperate heart at the time.
“Then, from January 1st, I started praying at dawn. Tears continued to flow. ‘God, please have pity on the life in my stomach.’ It was only then that I thought it was like this. I wondered how they would live their lives and look at their children, and I wondered if I was too arrogant.”
Lee Ha-nui, who fortunately received a ‘negative’ result at the hospital, said, “Rather than being happy, I thought of other mothers and children who would have been tested positive.”
Lee Ha-nui, who is eager to do anything, tries to intervene excessively in her child’s affairs, and her husband says, “Ha-nui, remember last December (2021)” and “How did you give me this child? It’s a child who might be born with a disability. It was given to us in good health. It was just given to us and God is raising it.”
Lee Ha-nui also revealed that her perspective on pregnancy has completely changed. He said, “The nutrients that went to the child through the umbilical cord come up to the top the moment the umbilical cord is cut and milk circulates. “I tell actresses and juniors that you have to try this at least once. This is a woman’s privilege. Don’t be afraid, and experience two hearts beating inside your body at once.”
“During my pregnancy, I wondered, ‘Can I do something more complete than this until I die? I want to be there,” he said, “the perspective of looking at pregnancy has completely changed.”
