The year 2022 was extremely marked by the explosion in the health tech market. These companies that bring health solutions digitally were already gaining a lot of space in 2021 with telemedicine regulations, strongly motivated by the impacts of Covid-19. According to Deloitte, 45% of Brazilian health techs were created from 2019 onwards. From online consultations to monitoring physical activities and food, for example, the truth is that Brazilians had the possibility of health care being more accessible lately.
And the facilities didn’t stop there. Monitoring children’s routine, financial management shared with teenagers and even plant care can be done through a series of specialized apps to help the population.
In addition to monitoring, some of these applications offer, for example, solutions to real day-to-day problems, such as furniture in the house that needs to be assembled or a pipe suddenly burst. In a few minutes, it is possible to receive a pre-assessed professional, qualified to solve the problem, with an appointment and digitalized and guaranteed payment.
For William Kassis, CEO of Repfy, an app that connects service providers to the population, this is just the beginning. “Since the pandemic, we have seen many people migrating between cities, leaving traditional jobs and taking more care of themselves and their homes. And all these factors come together through the technology of a modern application. Whether to take care of some issue, or to attract customers.”
The expectation of entrepreneurs in the sector is that these apps can reach the point of relating to each other, creating increasingly useful and complete systems for the user. Will it continue to work? The answer will come from the palm of your hands.
