The build-up of the Russian offensive is no longer limited to Donetsk, however. Elsewhere in the country, Vladimir Putin’s troops are becoming more and more pressing. In Kharkiv, five people were injured following a raid hit the city center, hitting houses and the university. In Kherson, a fire broke out following bombs from Moscow hit a school without causing any casualties. Cities liberated from the yoke of the invader a few months ago and which fear that the nightmare will start once more soon.
British intelligence notes, however, that Russian forces have managed to gain only a few hundred meters of territory per week since January. “This is almost certainly due to the fact that Russia no longer has the ammunition and maneuver units necessary for successful offensives.“
“It remains unlikely that Russia will be able to build up the forces necessary to materially influence the outcome of the war in the coming weeks.“, adds the British intelligence.
