Sudaeseg alerted of 24 insurance companies not authorized to operate in Venezuela

Caracas. – This Monday, the National Superintendency of Insurance Activity (Sudaeseg) issued an alert once morest 24 companies that sell insurance contracts and prepaid medicine without being authorized or previously controlled by the regulatory authority, in addition, they are prohibited from offering said products.

The public notice outlined that “the offers made by these companies put the interest of citizens at risk, since they do not meet the requirements established in the Insurance Activity Law, which guarantee compliance with their obligations to policyholders, contractors, insured, affiliates, users and beneficiaries”.

“Consequently, until these unauthorized companies meet the requirements to operate in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, this Superintendency of Insurance Activity urges the general public not to contract with them or to provide services that facilitate their illegal activity.”

La lista de las empresas señaladas por el organismo regulador son: Movilab Hub Service Health, Rofenirca C.A., A &B International Group, Vumi, Best Doctors, Global Benefits Group (CBG), Redbridge, Bupa, BMI, Premier Assurance Group, Best Global Insurance, Health Innovative Corp, y Morgan White Group – AmFirst Life.

They also mention: Seguros Macs, Benefit Multinacional, Oasis F Corporation, CA, Rapido and Seguros Internacional (insurance broker), Elite Aliados Loyal CA, El Progreso Vehicle Insurance RL, Holy People, health program, Sisalud Paraíso, Salud Zulia , Comprehensive Health Mother Rafols, and Diaplus, CA

The Sudaeseg warned the regulated companies that any “action or fact that they carry out or contribute to the positioning or expansion of said unauthorized companies will be punished with the provisions of the Law that regulates the exercise of the activity.”
