Russian Olympic boxing champion Albert Batyrgaziev won a duel with former World Boxing Association (WBA) world champion Panamanian Jesreel Corrales.

The fight ended in the ninth round by technical knockout.

The fight became the main event of the boxing evening organized by Dynamo Boxing Promotions, which was held as part of the third All-Russian Boxing Forum in Serpukhov.

Batyrgaziev, 24, has won all seven of his professional fights. The 31-year-old Corrales has 26 wins and four losses. The Panamanian held the WBA super champion title in 2016–2017.

Batyrgaziev spent his last fight on November 11 in Moscow, defeating the ex-contender for the WBA champion title, Panamanian Ricardo Nunez, by unanimous decision.
