To take stock, ANSES and the WHO’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) are organizing a Scientific Meeting on 23 November next on the theme “Radiofrequencies and health: research in the face of rapidly evolving technologies”. .
This day will be devoted to the work carried out or financed by the two organizations to characterize exposure to radiofrequency waves and to explore their effects on health. On this occasion, ANSES wishes to report on the results of the national environment-health-work research program (PNR EST) on this topic. Each of the four themes will be the subject of an introductory conference setting out the issues and several scientific presentations:
- exposure and symptoms
- radiofrequencies and the brain
- radiofrequencies and cancer
- RF exposure
The day will end with a round table, during which several speakers will discuss the challenges posed by the rapid evolution of technologies with regard to the long times needed for research and scientific expertise to identify and assess health risks. human.
