A dog from Portugal is 30 years old and broke the Guinness Record as the oldest dog in the world. In this way, he dethroned Spike, an Ohio Chihuahua who had been recognized as the oldest canine just two weeks ago.
The new winner is called Bobi and he is a pure Rafeiro do Alentejoa breed of guard dogs. The life expectancy of this breed is between regarding 12 and 14 years.. However, Bobi is 30 years and 266 days old, as he was able to confirm Guinness World Records.
So, the dog not only becomes the oldest in the world, but also surpassed the previous owner of the titlesince it was an Australian cattle called Bluey who managed to live 29 years and 5 months.

Boni was born in a rural town of Conqueiros in Portugal along with three other male cubs, but the family decided she mightn’t take care of any more animals.
