In another development, also related to theft at pagodas in this district, on the night of January 27 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year), at Buu Minh pagoda (village 1, Nghia Hung), was stolen. The thief broke into and stole 4 statues, including: 3 Buddha statues (made of plated copper, incense wood, bronze horse) and 1 Amitabha statue made of jackfruit wood. The total value of these 4 statues is hundreds of millions of dong.
