The Abu Dhabi Office for Conventions and Exhibitions of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi opened its first foreign office in South Korea, in order to build bridges to communicate with new promising markets, discover opportunities in them, and highlight the elements of tourism for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions in the emirate. Abu Dhabi had received 30,408 visitors from South Korea between January and August 2022, which reflects the high demand enjoyed by the emirate among tourists and visitors from South Korea.
The office focuses on introducing companies, professional associations, event organizers, agencies for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions tourism programs, and stakeholders in South Korea, to exceptional offers, integrated facilities and infrastructure, and inspiring entertainment and cultural experiences provided by the emirate, and dedicates its leadership on the map of capitals of business events in the scientist.

The Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau adopts several initiatives to improve aspects of financial and advisory support for strategic business tourism events, through its “Abu Dhabi Opportunities” initiative, which provides support and various packages of benefits to the organizers of meetings, incentive programs and conferences in the emirate during all stages of planning, implementation and promotion, including providing them with incentives. Financial and special offers on tourism experiences.
These initiatives include cooperation with “Etihad Airways” to provide additional support to corporate groups looking to organize their events in Abu Dhabi, such as discounted airline tickets, discounts on group bookings, free tickets on direct flights for large delegations, and special prices on tours for inspection visits to programs and facilities for holding events. and incentive activities in the emirate.
The Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibitions Bureau is also continuing to deepen partnership relations with specialized professional associations, and to lead and support offers to attract the most prominent local and international events. These efforts included renewing the office’s memorandum of understanding with the “Emirates Medical Association” to attract more conferences concerned with the health care sector to the capital, Abu Dhabi.
