Produced between 1877 and 1878, the ” boat party represents a boater in costume, sailing on the Yerres aboard his boat. Classified as national treasuresthis painting was estimated at 43 million euros. Capped at 3 million euros in its acquisition budget, the State then supported the LVMH group to make this substantial purchase. Today, this magnificent canvas joins the collection of 10 other works by Gustave Caillebotte present at the Musée d’Orsay. All that remains is for you to discover it!
