Swatch will propose to its shareholders to slightly increase the dividends for the 2022 financial year. This was announced by the Bienne watch group on Wednesday in a press release. The shareholders will have to decide on this at the general meeting on May 10.
Swatch offers 6.00 francs per bearer share and 1.20 francs per registered share, after respectively 5.50 francs and 1.10 francs received for 2021, detailed the company.
At the end of January, the company said it had recorded revenue last year up 2.5% to 7.45 billion francs. Net profit increased by 6.3% to 838 million, while operating profit increased by 13.4% to 1.16 billion. /ATS
