From the first days of the year, if you look at the sky under the Big Dipper, you will be able to observe the most important meteor shower of the year! Make yourself comfortable with a hot chocolate and enjoy the show! You will be able to see between 100 and 120 shooting stars per hour. The most active night will be January 3-4.

January 8, 2023
Access to several museums is free on the first Sunday of each month. Exceptionally in January, free access is postponed to the second Sunday, January 8, 2023. Consult the map available on the Government of Quebec website to find the participating institutions in your region.
SEPAQ winter day
Until March 14, 2023
From December 28, 2022 to March 14, 2023, national park visitors will not have to pay daily access fees for 24 days, according to a predefined schedule and available online on the Sépaq website. Explore the various provincial parks to enjoy the joys of winter!
Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing

Children aged 5 to 8 are invited to try their hand at downhill skiing or snowboarding for free. The activity takes place at the Center de la Nature de Laval, under the supervision of a team of animators. Skis, board, boots and helmet are provided!
Devil’s Mountain Ski and Snowshoe Festival (Laurentians)
January 21, 2023
Take advantage of the festival to discover the park and its cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. On the program: free or accompanied snowshoe hikes, introduction to cross-country skiing, guided ski tour, Nordic ski hikes and hot chocolate.
Access is free, but fees apply for certain clinics where registration is required.

Laval en blanc is a free, festive winter event held at the Center Nature. On the menu: winter activities, dancing, shows, mini zip line, light character, bumper car, and more.

To the delight of lovers of winter pleasures, the Bois de Belle-Rivière Regional Educational Park is pleased to announce the return of the snow festival! Several activities on the menu including bubble soccer, tube sliding, giant ball pool, fatbike, skating trail in the forest and many others. You are expected in large numbers!

Get acquainted with a host of winter activities during the Festi-Glisse. Young and old alike can practice fatbiking, sledge hockey and cross-country skiing, in addition to skating, sliding on inner tubes and taking part in a snow sculpture contest.
