Invited on the set of RTL info Signatures, the Minister of Justice Vincent Van Quickenborne was questioned regarding his past as a cannabis smoker.
Twenty years ago, when Vincent Van Quickenborne entered politics, he appeared with a seal in his mouth. The minister had even admitted that he smoked weed in the Senate and he returned to the RTL info Signatures on this period of his youth.
“I was young, when you’re a student, you do things that are not right“, he explains. Favorable on the legalization of cannabis at the time, the minister is no longer so today. He considers in particular that this subject is certainly not a priority currently within the government.
“We need to work on crime and the events in Antwerp have absolutely nothing to do with cannabis“, he concludes.
