Due to this competition, important roads in the city such as Carrera 27 will be closed between 7:00 in the morning and 2:00 in the followingnoon, during the four days.
For example, Carrera 27 will have total closure, in both directions of traffic, from Calle 10 to Puerta del Sol and from this point to the Provenza bridge.
The Bucaramanga Transit Director, Carlos Enrique Bueno Cadena, explained that vehicle drivers must schedule their trips, taking into account the following routes and alternate routes.
Thursday February 2
The competition route will go from the Alfonso López stadium – Cra 30 – Calle 10 – Cra 27 – Puerta del Sol – Autopista – Anillo Vial – Glorieta Alkosto – Parqueadero Marval – Girón – Puente Palenque – Return McPollo, to continue to the Stadium by the same way.
Alternate routes:
This is the most critical day, since there is only one passage allowed to cross from west to east and two to go from east to west of the city.
-Those who wish to move from blocks below Carrera 27 to the east, can only do so using the Conucos Bridge. If you go to the south, you can opt for Av. Quebrada Seca to the west and connect with carrera 22 or carrera 9.
-Those who have to go west from the blocks above Carrera 27 can do so through the depressed area of Mesón de los Búcaros and the Conucos Bridge. If you go to the south of the city, you can take Carrera 33 and the old road to Floridablanca.
-Vehicles coming from Floridablanca may take the old road and join Carrera 33 or take the Transversal Oriental
-Vehicles moving along the road that leads from Girón to Bucaramanga, may take diagonal 15 and race 21 to connect with the center and west of the city. Those who go to the east, can go up 67th street, (La Salle traffic light), and connect with 33rd race.
-The drivers who are in the Anillo Vial, will be able to enter Bucaramanga taking the road to Chimitá and 45th street.
-Vehicles coming from the road to the sea can take the route: La Virgen – carrera 15 – Bulevar Bolívar – carrera 22 – Av. La Rosita to the west, connecting with diagonal 15 to the south, and from there taking Puerta del Sol and Carrera 30, (Parque de las Hormigas), to go up Calle 67 and connect with Carrera 33 to the north or with the old road to Floridablanca.
Friday 3, Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 February
The cyclists will leave through Carrera 30 from Calle 14 to Calle 10, go down to the Caballo de Bolívar roundregarding and take Carrera 27, passing through Puerta del Sol to Calle 70 via Girón, towards the Palenque Bridge and the Ring Road. From this corridor, the competitors will take Calle 45 and go up to race 23, (Siete Bocas intersection), where they will connect with calle 48 to go up to race 27, and counterflow along the western road of this artery, until they reach to calle 10 and end at carrera 30.
For these routes, Carrera 27 will also be closed in both directions of traffic, from Calle 10 to Calle 56 and Puerta del Sol.
And the Bucaramanga – Girón road will be closed only in that direction of road traffic.

Agents of the Bucaramanga Traffic Directorate, with the support of the National Police, will carry out controlled crossings at the following road intersections:
1. Inn of the Bucaros
2. Carrera 27 with Calle 36 and Calle 56
3. Calle 45 with carrera 10 W (Campohermoso neighborhood)
4. Calle 45 at the height of the return of the Institute of Legal Medicine
5. Calle 45 with races 9, 15, 21, 22 and 23.
-Vehicles coming from Floridablanca will take the old highway and connect with Carrera 33 or the Transversal Oriental.
-Vehicles that move along the road that leads from Girón to Bucaramanga, may take diagonal 15 and race 21 to connect with the center and west of the city. Those who go to the east can go up 67th street (La Salle traffic light) and connect with 33rd race.
-Vehicles coming from the road to the sea, may take the route, La Virgen – carrera 15 – Bolívar boulevard – carrera 22 – Av. La Rosita to the west – diagonal 15 to the south, passing through the Puerta del Sol, to continue along the Carrera 30, (Parque de las Hormigas), and go up Calle 67 to connect with Carrera 33 or the old road to Floridablanca. Those who go south can also take the route of the Transversal Metropolitana – Puente El Bueno and calle 105 to the Puente de Provenza, to connect with the old road.
-The drivers who are above race 27 and head south of the city, can also take race 33 and the old road to Floridablanca.
-Those who are below race 27, may also choose Av. Quebrada Seca to the west and connect with race 22 or race 9.
-Heavy load vehicles coming from the road to the sea destined for regions in the center of the country will be diverted by the Anillo Vial. Those who go to Cúcuta will not be able to enter the city between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm, from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 February.
