A new steering wheel with touch buttons on the spokes has appeared in the cabin, allowing you to control the central touchscreen and “tidy”. The previously black frames of the ventilation deflectors are now made of real metal, as in the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. Piano Black Flowing Lines trim, previously exclusive to Maybach, is also available. The novelties are equipped with the latest generation MBUX multimedia system, but the dimensions of both screens remain the same – 12.3 inches.
Mercedes-Benz has redesigned the Off-Road Engineering Package, which includes underbody protection and increases ground clearance by 30 millimetres. There is an off-road mode in the arsenal of new products, which displays on the central display the angles of roll and turn of the steering wheel, the view of the front wheels, and with the “transparent hood” function, the road in front of the car. New assistants have appeared that simplify maneuvering with a trailer.
