The current imayor of Fernandez Oro, Mariano Lavinlaunched his candidacy as legislator from Río Negro by the hand of Alberto Weretilneck. The president highlighted the importance of the political union he achieved with the leader of Together We Are Río Negro.
Mariano Lavín finally managed to be part of the list of candidates for the Río Negro Legislature proposed by the senator. “We think it is important that a city like Fernández Oro have representation in the Legislature. It was always my goal to get to that placeand I am very happy to have the responsibility of carrying the voice of my people” Lavín stated in LU19.
In addition, Lavin added “I do not come from the initial ranks of together. I come from the neighborhood movement of Todos Somos Oro, a very local project that prioritized our needs. That they take us into account in this way speaks of the breadth of togetherness of having the same consideration for each locality, that there are no first or second-class localities”.
The politician clarified that although he seeks to work for the growth of Fernández Oro in the Legislature, he will work for the entire province. He also highlighted the composition of the JSRN list, “There are new people who have never fulfilled legislative functions, and who today have the opportunity to do so. This speaks of the breadth of this Río Negro agreement,” declared Lavín.
The mayor, Mariano Lavín stated in dialogue with RÍO NEGRO that since 2015 the local party Todos Somos Oro and Juntos Somos Río Negro share the local government, and that during the new proposal that emerged in 2019 “The people supported the work together with the province in the election”, both initially with Alberto Weretilneck as governor and currently with Governor Arabela Carreras, they have generated joint work that has provided answers and solutions for the city.
