Morocco will help Tanzania set up a fertilizer blending plant, which will enable the East African country to overcome the food security problems it faces.

The Tanzanian media The Citizen announced that Morocco and Tanzania would begin talks for the establishment of a fertilizer blending facility in Kisarawe.

This announcement, which has been confirmed to us, comes as the Tanzanian government is trying to save the public company Tanzania Fertilizer Company (TFC), which is in financial and commercial difficulties. The Citizen reports that the Tanzanian government has bailed out TFC’s capital by $48.19 million (approx. market”.
