During his career in the military, Angel Pieters’ father-in-law held several important positions, such as General Staff of the Indonesian Armed Forces, Deputy Governor of East Timor, and others.
He has also served as Director of the Special Forces Command Engineer (Kopassus) to occupy the position of Commander of the Regional Military Command (Pangdam), Pangdam I/Bukit Barisan and Pangdam Jayakarta/Jaya twice.
Lt. Gen. TNI Purn. Johanes Suryo Prabowo has also held positions as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (Wakasad) to Chief of the General Staff (Kasum) of the TNI.
The father of Angel Pieters’ husband also has many achievements, such as the Adhi Makayasa award following graduating from the 1976 Armed Forces Academy (AKABRI) with the best title.
