WhatsApp continues to add new features to its platform that allow users to communicate with each other in a more convenient and secure way. Some of the recent additions to the app include – forums, post media with captions, messages to yourself and more.
These features are designed to make WhatsApp a safe and easy platform for everyone.
WhatsApp also offers a wide range of additional features that provide users with better user interface, privacy, and more.
However, some of these features are in beta and not yet rolled out to users, including PIP (Picture-in-Picture) mode, configure image quality before sharing, status reporting, and more.
All these features make WhatsApp one of the most comprehensive messaging platforms available.
The meta giant is working on a new feature that will allow WhatsApp users to interact with the ad block.
According to WABetaInfo, the company plans to integrate this feature into the ad block.
This feature will be available to all WhatsApp users following installing the latest update (v23.2.0.75) of WhatsApp for iOS from the App Store and TestFlight for beta testers.
The report added that the company is working on an in-app banner to alert users when there is an update that sends feedback messages in the ad block.
WhatsApp is updating voice feedback status
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also testing the ability to share voice notes via status updates.
As reported by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out a new update (v23.2.0.70) via the TestFlight beta program.
The update adds the ability to select beta testers and has been rolled out to some beta testers.
WhatsApp users who are unable to share voice notes via status will have to wait for the next update of the app.
The report also states that WhatsApp beta iOS users running the latest version will be able to share voice notes as status updates.
This feature is placed in the text status section.
Voice notes shared via Status will automatically expire following 24 hours, just like photos and videos, but you can delete them for everyone at any time.
The report also adds that users will need to update their WhatsApp app to listen to voice notes sent as statuses.
