Every year, many traders come to the yellow apricot garden to visit and place orders, including traders from Cambodia.
In addition to the yellow apricot trees that have been cared for since they were young, Linh also invested in 1,000 grafted apricot trees earlier this year for higher value.
Linh said: “In the past two years, despite the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, gold apricots are still selling very well. My business point of view is quality, prestige, aiming at everyone who can buy apricots for Tet, giving spring colors more colors, traditional Tet is more meaningful, so apricot garden has many varieties with suitable selling prices. Every year, regarding 1.5-2 months following the Lunar New Year, many traders come to the garden to visit and place orders.
Currently, in addition to Thu Duc apricot varieties, which have been bought and cared for since childhood, Linh has invested regarding 1,000 more grafted apricot roots at a cost of billions of dong. This number of grafted apricots is in the process of initial care, next year’s New Year can be sold to the market for more than 10 million VND / tree.
Besides, she also takes care of apricots of families following Tet holiday; Depending on the value of each root, the price for receiving care also varies, from a few hundred thousand to several million dong/year. Currently, her family’s apricot garden is creating regular stable jobs for 4 workers, with an income of 6-8 million VND/person/month.
