The iPhone 15 series released later this year will be equipped with WiFi 6E technology, for faster connection speeds, lower latency.
According to reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iPhone 15 series introduced in late 2023 will use the Wi-Fi 6E standard.
Apple is now making Wi-Fi 6E available to the 11- and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models introduced last year, along with the new 14-inch and 16-inch Mac Mini and MacBook Pro models.
Apple is not equipped with Wi-Fi 6E for the iPhone 14 series, but it seems that the company is ready to bring this technology to the new iPhone version in 2023.
Along with Mr. Kuo, analysts Blayne Curtis and Tom O’Malley of Barclayshas also said that iPhone 15 models will be upgraded to Wi-Fi 6E.
Currently, there are no rumors confirming whether Wi-Fi 6E will be made available to all iPhone 15 models or limited to the higher-end iPhone 15 Pro models.
Wi-Fi 6E is the first Wi-Fi standard to allow 6GHz connections, providing improved wireless connection speeds, lower latency, and less signal interference, while Wi-Fi 6 only works on the band. 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies.
