Microsoft Won’t Sell Windows 10 Anymore, But You Can Still Buy It

Windows 10 will no longer be sold by Microsoft from January 31, 2023, as Oficina da Net reported a week ago. However, this does not mean that you will no longer be able to download the Windows 10 ISO (“image”) from the company’s website. The operating system’s download pages do not mention that the files will no longer be accessible, that is, the ad was directed only at sales of Windows 10 licenses by the company itself.

On the Windows 10 Home and Pro page, Microsoft has clearly stated that it will continue to offer updates for Windows 10 computers until October 14, 2025. If you want to know how to download the Windows 10 ISO, visit our tutorial, where there are available two ways to obtain it.

You can still buy a Windows 10 key

It will still be possible to buy the key or download the Windows 10 ISO following the end of sales of OS licenses by Microsoft.

Even if it is no longer possible, following January 31st, to buy a Windows 10 license through the Microsoft website, nothing prevents consumers from looking to buy the operating system key on other online sales sites such as, for example, Amazon, eBay, among others.

User will still be able to downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10

If you want, the user can purchase the Windows 11 license and downgrade to Windows 10 by downloading the ISO of the operating system. By doing so, the administrator will automatically have their license for Windows 10 activated.
