While the Kingdom’s embassy in Washington is still following up on investigations into the circumstances of the killing of Saudi citizen Al-Walid Al-Gharibi, Sultan Al-Gharibi, the uncle of the murdered, stated that the body of the deceased will arrive in Saudi Arabia following hours, while prayers will take place over his body tomorrow at Asr prayer, following which burial ceremonies will be held, according to What he confirmed toNews 24in a telephone call.
The crime of killing Al-Walid Al-Gharibi took place last Monday inside a house in Building No. 300 on Hansbury Street in Germantown, when they found the young man, who is 25 years old, with a stab wound in the neck in the bathroom on the third floor. Al-Gharibi was declared dead at the scene.
Earlier, the Kingdom’s embassy in the United States revealed that the person accused of killing the Saudi envoy, Alwaleed Al-Gharibi, is currently under investigation, following her arrest, to confirm that the embassy has completed the necessary procedures with the American authorities in order to arrange the transfer of the body of the deceased to the Kingdom.
And the family of the deceased had previously expressed that the incident of the killing of their son, Al-Walid Al-Gharibi, at the hands of the girl who shared housing with him in the same building, was heartbreaking and shocking news, “it came upon them like a thunderbolt.”
