The executive director of ANSES, Fernanda Raverta, today asked the deputies of the opposition that allow the treatment of the new law of Payment of Social Security Debt because if they don’t, approximately 800 thousand people will not be able to access their retirement.
“The Pension Debt Payment law was to be dealt with in December so that we do not have this bump and the deputies of Together for Change and the opposition decided not to go to work, not to sit on the premises and we were left without a law,” Raverta questioned.

After inaugurating together with the director of PAMI, Luana Volnovich, the new building of the social work for retirees and pensioners in Mar del Plata, he expressed in statements to the press: “Since 2004 and later in 2014 we had a law that allowed retire those men and women who lacked a few years of contribution paying their debt and that law expired at the beginning of the year“.
“The Argentines and Argentines deserve that the deputies come down to session and that they give us this tool that is not for the government nor is it for ANSES, but for the enormous number of 800 thousand Argentines and Argentines who this year reach the age of retirement and they need to pay off the debt from those years of contributions,” he said.

For this reason, he highlighted: “From ANSES we hope that in these extraordinary sessions the opposition deputies will give us this opportunity to discuss this law in order to have the tool that allows Argentines to access retirement.”
