This Friday the video of the beating that several Memphis police officers inflicted at the beginning of this month on the African-American Tire Nichols, who died days later in the hospital, was released.
The five officers, also African-American, are being held on criminal charges including second-degree murder.
The Grizzlies released a statement tagged #JusticeForTyre, mourning “the loss of life due to police brutality.”
