Didn’t get a seat; Congress and BJP workers set fire to offices in Tripura

Agartala: Clashes in Tripura following BJP and Congress announced candidates for assembly elections. Dissatisfaction with the selection of the candidate is the reason for the conflict. Congress workers vandalized the party office in Dharmanagar. BJP workers set fire to the party office in Bagbasa. Tripura has a total of 60 seats. BJP has announced its candidates for 48 seats.

Now 12 seats are left to be announced. Due to this, many people who thought that they would be able to compete were not able to compete. With this, a group of activists vandalized the party office and set it on fire.

The same thing happened in Congress. Congress and CPM are contesting in Tripura. Out of these, 43 seats are contested by CPM and 17 by Congress. Therefore, Congress has less number of seats this time. Considering this reason, Congress workers are also attacking their offices.
