(PLO)- Going to his cousin’s house to play Tet but seeing no one, Trieu stole an 18k gold bangle weighing 4.1 taels worth regarding 120 million VND.

On January 28, the Investigation Police Agency of Chau Thanh District, An Giang Province said that the unit was consolidating the file to handle Pham Thi Trieu (35 years old, living in Thoai Son district, An Giang province) for the behavior property theft.

According to initial information, around 9 am on January 26, Trieu went to his cousin’s house, N. (Vinh Trach commune, Chau Thanh district) to play Tet but no one was at home. Trieu entered the room and discovered an 18k gold bangle, weighing 4.1 taels worth regarding 120 million dong. Out of greed, Trieu stole the gold bracelet and left.

Ms. N. discovered that the gold was lost, so she reported it to the police.

Immediately following receiving the news, the general investigation force of the district police quickly coordinated with the Vinh Thanh Commune Police to examine the scene, investigate, and clarify. By professional measures, the police identified Trieu as a suspect and invited him to work. At first, Trieu crookedly refused to admit it, but in the face of irrefutable evidence, Trieu bowed his head to confess.

Because Trieu is in the process of raising a child, Chau Thanh District Police has given Trieu’s family bail to serve the investigation.
