– Tonight is WWE SmackDown, the blue show starts on a video concerning the trial of Sami Zayn during the 30th anniversary of RAW. The Usos and Solo Sikoa arrive in the arena, Sami Zayn approaches Jey Uso in secret to talk to him. He thanks him for what he did for him on RAW before going back into hiding.
The SmackDown intro plays then the pyros break out! The commentators welcome us for this last show before the Royal Rumble. Rey Mysterio then enters for his match once morest Karrion Kross.
Singles Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Karrion Kross (accompanied by Scarlett)
At the end of the match, Scarlett intervenes in the match in favor of Karrion Kross but Rey Mysterio manages to make his 619 followed by a Splash on his opponent followed by the fall… Kross gets up at 2. Karrion Kross wants to make a hold to Rey Mysterio but the latter counters him with a roll up for the win.

– We see the victory of Austin Theory over Bobby Lashley during the 30th anniversary of RAW thanks to the intervention of Brock Lesnar.
– Behind the scenes, Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky talk regarding the Royal Rumble and say it’s going to be hard to eliminate them when they work together.
– Austin Theory enters with the United States belt. In the ring, he tells us “The Champ is Here”. He is still champion and he will win the Royal Rumble this Saturday! The New Day music hits and Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods arrive on the stage. Kingston says he only respects 3 Austins: Austin Creed (Xavier Woods), Stone Cold Steve Austin and the city of Austin, TX.
Austin Theory really thinks he’ll win the Royal Rumble? The New Day mocks the champion and says the winner is going to be one of the two. Austin Theory asks them if they know who he is…he’s WWE’s biggest star! The Miz’s music hits and he comes to the ring. The Miz tells Theory that he competed in Royal Rumble Matches before Theory even hit puberty. At the Royal Rumble, he will swing Austin Theory and 28 others over the top rope to win.
The Miz and Austin Theory attack the New Day but Bobby Lashley arrives to join in the fight. He takes a microphone and says he’s going to terrorize all the Royal Rumble wrestlers to get what he deserves. Brock Lesnar arrives from the crowd and gives an F5 to Bobby Lashley then announces his participation in the Royal Rumble!
– Backstage, Rhea Ripley says she’s ready for the Royal Rumble. This year is his.

Lacey Evans vs Jazmin Allure
At the end of the match, Lacey Evans makes her opponent give up on a Cobra Clutch.
Winner: Lacey Evans
– After the match, Lacey Evans says that we will be sad when she will apply this submission on the 29 other wrestlers and will send them over the third rope. Lacey Evans wants us to salute the future winner of the Royal Rumble! Evans sends Jazmin Allure over the top rope.
– Behind the scenes, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus take turns betting on his partner for the Royal Rumble before punching him. Kayla Braxton advises them to focus on their match once morest Hit Row tonight.
– A video on Cody Rhodes is shown.
– Sheamus and Drew McIntyre enter but they are attacked by the Viking Raiders from behind!
– During the commercial break, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre returned pissed backstage. In the ring, Adam Pearce announces to Hit Row that they won’t be able to fight and a team will replace them… it’s Braun Strowman and Ricochet!

At the end of the match, Ricochet flew over the top rope to jump on Top Dolla, while Braun Strowman powerbombed Ashante Adonis for the pinfall victory.

– Backstage, Kayla Braxton asks Kevin Owens why he’s facing Solo Sikoa tonight when he’s already up once morest Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble? Owens replies that he is doing this because he wants to become Universal Champion. 2 years ago, everyone stopped him from winning the title. He has to take care of the Bloodline members before the Royal Rumble. The Usos arrive and a fight breaks out but the officials separate them.
– The Usos leave the arena and Jey Uso calls Sami Zayn and tells him he has something to ask him.
– Bray Wyatt’s old music plays… but it’s LA Knight playing his entrance. He says Bray Wyatt has 24 hours before their match and advises him to bring the advice the Undertaker has been whispering in his ear during 30 years of RAW. Bray Wyatt appears on a chair on stage. He says that at the Royal Rumble, LA Knight will finally meet the man he is looking for. Let him rest tonight. When the lights go out… he’ll see! Uncle Howdy appears in the crowd.

At the end of the match, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci make their Imperium Bomb on Joaquin Wilde for the pinfall victory.
Winners: Imperium – They will face Braun Strowman and Ricochet in the final
– A video on the numbers of the Royal Rumble is broadcast.
– Behind the scenes, Xia Li announces her participation in the Royal Rumble.
– Backstage, Charlotte Flair joins Adam Pearce and asks for a title defense. Pearce accepts a match for the SmackDown Women’s Belt next week once morest Sonya Deville. Also next week: tournament final with Braun Strowman and Ricochet once morest the Imperium.

Kevin Owens vs Solo Score
At the end of the match, Kevin Owens goes up on the third rope and makes a Swanton on Solo Sikoa followed by the pinfall… Sami Zayn intervenes to save Sikoa!
Winner: No contest
Kevin Owens exits the ring and Solo Sikoa Superkicks Sami Zayn trying to do it on Kevin Owens. The latter prepares the table but Sikoa manages to regain the upper hand and installs Owens on the table. He takes the height and jumps on Owens but the latter counters him with a Superkick then continues with a Powerbomb on the table! Kevin Owens grabs a chair and looks at Sami Zayn…he turns around and hits Solo Sikoa!
The commentators present the Royal Rumble card and then the show ends.
